Yvette joined the United Human Resources team in 2021 with the intention of contributing meaningfully to a mid-sized organization where innovation and collaboration are central to driving sustainable change.

What initially drew her to United was the opportunity to support operations in a way that directly enhances both the employee experience and organizational growth. Yvette says her work experience at United “has been deeply rewarding, providing continuous professional growth alongside a leadership team that prioritizes people, purpose, and progress”.

Yvette started her career in Human Resources, developing a strong foundation in compliance, benefits administration, and payroll. During her tenure at United, she discovered a passion for IT systems and process optimization, prompting a strategic shift in her focus.

Yvette is now specializing in designing and implementing scalable, technology-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and align with broader organizational goals of United. Originally from Southern California,

Yvette relocated to Sacramento after earning a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism with a minor in Business Administration from San José State University.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, attending live performances,  karaoke, game nights, and making frequent visits to Disneyland.
