Evelyn Rosales – Vice President
Team Member

Evelyn Rosales is committed to being a positive problem solver. She says the secret to finding the best solutions is open communication, which begins with active listening. Evelyn believes “no matter who the person is, or what their question or concern may be, they deserve to feel comfortable and be heard.”

Evelyn started with United Building Maintenance in 2014, working as a Night Janitor. Though this was her first job right out of high school, Evelyn’s work ethic, can-do attitude, technical skills, and pleasant demeanor earned the notice of United leadership, and she quickly moved up to Day Porter, then Account Manager, and now Vice President.

Today, Evelyn’s responsibilities include quality control inspections, client meetings, and proposals. “I work with our clients, answering questions, addressing concerns, and managing requests for new or additional services. I also supervise about 25 employees. I appreciate the opportunity to face a different challenge every day, to have another chance to turn a problem into a solution. If that means getting down and cleaning a toilet in my heels, then going to meet with a client, that’s what I do.”

When she’s not creating solutions for clients and coworkers, Evelyn likes to hang out with her friends, work out at the gym, and cheer on her team, the San Francisco Giants. “Sometimes, though,” she says, “It’s fun just to get out and explore the city. I grew up in Sacramento, but there’s always something new and exciting to see.”
